Did you know that goldfish are commonly associated with fortune, wealth and surplus in China because the Chinese word for fish is similar in pronunciation to the word for wealth? I didn’t, but a very legitimate website on the internet told me so, so it must be true. I managed not to get bogged down on details with this one and focus on the overall colours and form (form could be pushed much further still). Detail/colour/form is a constant struggle when time is a major factor.
