Hobart-born Alexander Barnes-Keoghan’s multi-faceted skillset specialises in traditional and digital wildlife illustration, sculpture, and photography. His honours degree built on traditional and virtual gallery experiences being developed by the School of Creative Industries Technical Team at the University of Newcastle, examples can be seen here and here.

Currently living in Orange, NSW, Australia, his traditional media strengths include graphite, ink & watercolour. Digital work includes utilising the Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity Creative Suite, Blender, Unity and Agisoft Metashape to create illustrations, paintings, sculptures, 3D scans, animations, posters and everything in between.

He has also worked as an events photographer, gaining experience through volunteering as the Media & Publications Officer for Edwards Hall in 2015, publishing over 10 000 photographs at over 40 events and creating event posters for the majority of these.

In his spare time he chases animals around, sketching and photographing them, going on bushwalks and playing underwater hockey.
